TEAM SMV 2012 AND BEYOND

The SMV family grows!

We're proud to officially welcome Ville, Matjosh, Yohann, Emily, Hagen and Li Yan to the SIXMOREVODKA family. We've tattooed them all so now they can't leave (*evil laugh*)!

Now that they're all here, the jokes get darker, the hangovers get stronger, the days get brighter and the work load gets (even more awesome) and lighter for the O.G's (...that stands for "Original Gangsters" for all you non ICE-T loving squares).

Meet the full family here on our site. But for now, you can just enjoy laughing at their photos...

FUCKED UP FRIDAYS

So here we are. Back at "Fucked Up Fridays" time again.
We must admit, there are questions that come up in one's mind about "Sanity" and other such (meaningless) expressions, when we gather all of our work together for our beloved Friday posts and take a long, hard (no pun intended here folks!) look at the absolute madness that we create sometimes.

We're not sure if you've noticed yet, although it's hard not to, but the fascination and...umm, "passion" (ok perhaps, "OBSESSION") we have with all things "dick", "fart" and/or "cum", has really only now, just come to our attention.

Well....SO. FUCKING. WHAT!?

MARKO EXHIBITS IN THE MUSEUM OF EUROPEAN CULTURE

Hey Guys,

The Museum of European Culture here in Berlin will be holding an exhibition called "Comic Life" and will be showcasing some of Marko's work from his illustrious career, in his very own section of the museum. The museum describes the exhibition as:

"The exhibition “comicleben_comiclife” provides a view on the life of seven people who's life is strongly shaped by their fascination for comics and its aesthetics.

Famous illustrator Marko Djurdjevic, award-winning graphic novelist Ulli Lust, publisher Dirk Rehm, gallery owner Carsten Laqua, collector René Köhler, Manga fan Nicole S. and comics scholar Professor Dietrich Grünewald — are united by the passion for this kind of pictorial narrative. Their personal approach to different styles of comics will be presented in dedicated sections of the exhibition."

The exhibition runs from May 5th until October 28th here in Berlin, so if you're coming into town, make sure to check it out!

NOT-THAT-FUCKED UP FRIDAY!!

VILLE GOT MARRIED TODAY!!! After surviving the respective Bachelor(ette) parties, the studio watched the Finnish lovebirds tie the knot here in Berlin. We're so proud of our young Finn and his wonderful wife. We wish you two all the best in the world!

So the happy couple is off on their honeymoon. Unfortunately for the rest of us sad-sacks, we still have a shitload of work to do. Some days are more stressful than others. We call those days "Weekdays" (...or "Weakdays" depending on your hangover).

Still, it seems that the answer to our problems never changes: MORE DRINKS!

JANAMAZING-NESS!!

Remember when you were 12 years old? ...yeah, we don't either. But we do remember that we sure as hell weren't doing things like this. The (one and only) Jana Schirmer however, is a different story all together.

Yes, that's right, these are Jana's sketches from her twelfth (12th!) year of life.

FUCKED UP FRIDAYS (DOUBLE DROP)

Hey Guys,

Seeing as last week we failed to post a Fucked Up Fridays message (...Hey! Nobody's perfect), this week we decided to "double drop" and split it into two different parts, focusing on two different questions (both equally insightful views into our fucked up little SMV family).

Here we go...

Question 1:

What happens when your team leaves the studio to go out for lunch (FOR ONCE!), but you have a lazy, drunken fool of a producer who "possibly" had a liiiittle too much the night before and simply can't handle the thought of using her OWN two legs to get around anymore?

Question 2:

What happens when a bunch of artists are working on a project and need some first-hand reference material (and also for some strange reason have the props, in-house, to carry out a full photo shoot)? …yeah, that's right: FUCK YOU GOOGLE REFERENCING!!!

Happy Easter break Ya'll!

MARKO MADNESS

Hey Guys,

Sorry we've been away for a while (...nobody's perfect!) but as our way of saying, "we've missed you", we've decided to give you a little bit more this week.
A little random? Perhaps. Still awesome stuff? Indeed.

Enjoy!
